Doctorow -- renowned author of <em>Billy Bathgate</em>, <em>Ragtime</em>, and <em>The March</em> and UNLV's 2009 Elias Ghanem Chair in Creative Writing -- gives the closing keynote address at the <a href="http://www.artslasvegas.org/vvbf/index.html" target="_blank">Vegas Valley Book Festival</a>. Doctorow's address will take place at the <a href="http://www.lvccld.org/about/branch_info.cfm?brid=1" target="_blank">Clark County Library Auditorium</a> and is co-sponsored by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, the  City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs, and Nevada Humanities. Tuesday, November 10, Doctorow will read from his newest novel, <em>Homer and Langley</em>, at the <a href="http://maps.unlv.edu/msu.html" target="_blank">UNLV Student Union Ballroom</a>.
