In the interest of sharing its media content with an even wider audience, BMI is in the process of upgrading its audio and video archives so that they're HTML5 compliant and will, as such, play on mobile devices. As of today, all 2006 and 2007 event media, news media, and videos are HTML-compliant and will play on smartphones and tablets. Other event years are forthcoming.

On Thursday, September 15 at 7pm in the Greenspun Hall Auditorium at UNLV, poet Josh Kryah will discuss and read from his work. Kryah holds an MFA degree from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop as well as a PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was the Poetry Schaeffer Fellow. Joshua’s first book, Glean, explores the dynamics inherent in a pursuit of faith of something that can never be fully realized nor expressed, earning him the 2005 Nightboat Books Poetry Prize. His newest collection, We Are Starved, details his hardscrabble upbringing in St. Louis, Missouri. His poetry has also been published in several journals including Shenandoah, Denver Quarterly, FIELD, The Iowa Review, and Ploughshares. Joshua is also the poetry editor of Witness, the literary journal of UNLV’s Black Mountain Institute.
