Michelle Paul received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont in 1997. Dr. Dr. Paul has been a licensed Psychologist in Nevada since 1999. She joined the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program as the Associate Director of Clinical Training in 2004. In 2019, she was promoted to Professor In Residence. Dr. Paul’s duties are centered on overseeing professional competency development in alignment with national education, training, and accreditation standards. In 2012, she took on the added function as the founding Director of a UNLV interdisciplinary community mental and behavioral health clinic, The PRACTICE, where students work under faculty supervision to provide much-needed mental health service to the community. In 2018, she won the UNLV and NSHE Graduate Academic Advisor award. As an active member of the Nevada Psychological Association, she has served on numerous committees and as Executive Board President. In 2019, she was honored by the association for “Outstanding Advocate for Psychology.” In 2011, she was appointed to the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners. She led the Board’s Legislative Committee, the Application Tracking, Evaluation, and Mobility Committee, and served as President from 2016-2019. Dr. Paul now serves the Psychology profession as Member-at-Large/Education Track on the international Association of State and Provincial Psychology Board of Directors.
