Join BMI for a live-taping of the Thresholds podcast, which is produced in a co-partnership with Literary Hub and BMI. Thresholds is a series of interviews with writers and artists you love about the transformative experiences (surprises, crises, existential freakouts, u-turns, breakthroughs) that have shaped their work. The life-wasn’t-the-same-after-that moments. In this taping, host – and former BMI fellow – Jordan Kisner (Thin Places) will sit down with writer Jayson Greene, the author of UnWorld, a speculative novel where the boundaries between the human and AI blur.
Jordan Kisner‘s writing has appeared in n+1, The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, GQ, The Guardian, The American Scholar, California Sunday, The New Yorker, The New Republic, New York magazine, Pop-Up Magazine, and Pitchfork, among other publications. Her work has received a Pushcart Prize and was selected for The Best American Essays 2016. The author of Thin Places: Essays from In Between, she teaches creative writing at Columbia University.
Jayson Greene is the author of Once More We Saw Stars and a contributing writer and former senior editor at Pitchfork. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son. UnWorld is his first novel.
