Shop Talk Events

Shop Talk is BMI’s virtual event series designed for writers and the writing-curious, and welcomes everyone from those who have books out in the world to those who are just beginning. This series focuses on questions connected to craft and the business of writing. Expect programs like our Sandbox Writer’s Exchange, as well as panels, workshops, and discussions that address topics like finding and working with an agent, learning strategies for life/work/writing balance, and specific techniques for composing poetry, fiction, nonfiction, graphic narratives, and more.
