About the Event
Chris Russell lives in Queens, NY, and works in the field of deaf-blindness and special education. He is the contributor illustrator for Stonecutter: A Journal of Art and Literature and his work has been featured in The Believer, Juxtapoz (online), Literary Hub, Higher Arc, Poetry Ireland Review, 92Y’s Podium, and elsewhere.
Chris is currently working on a graphic translation of Witold Gombrowicz’s Cosmos, forthcoming from Siglio Press, and a collection of graphic narratives from interviews by journalist Patrick Hilsman with Syrians in exile.
