Breakout Writers Series: ‘Pemi Aguda
About the Event
Nigerian novelist and short-story writer ‘Pemi Aguda, recently profiled as a “First Fiction” debut writer by Poets & Writers magazine, will read from her acclaimed collection Ghost Roots. True to its name, the book weaves horror, fantasy, and myth in short stories that explore women’s roles and female relationships as well as family conflict and identity. The reading will include audience q&a, and will be followed by a book-signing.
