About the Event
Join BMI Shearing Fellow Alejandro Heredia alongside feature speakers to participate in guided community dialogue about the power and limits of creative writing. The purpose of this free, afternoon-long event isn’t to arrive at any final definition, but to explore questions, ideas, and possibilities for how writing can be of service in the fight for social justice across a myriad of local, national, and international issues.

*Free parking on Saturdays!
The event will be made up of featured speaker readings, small group discussion among participants, and will end with a brief Q&A featuring the speakers.
